Coastal Rugby Journal

Editorial policy

Coastal Rugby Journal aims to make its coverage of seaside rugby clear, fair and careful. We separate fact from interpretation, explain uncertainty where it matters and take responsibility for correcting mistakes.

Accuracy and context

We check names, descriptions and claims against suitable material before publication, and avoid presenting an impression as a verified fact. Where a subject involves competing accounts or changing details, we make that limitation clear rather than forcing certainty.

Independence and corrections

Editorial decisions belong to the publication. Commercial relationships do not buy favourable editorial treatment. Readers can send correction requests through the Contact page; we review the point, make warranted changes and clarify significant corrections in the relevant piece.

Commercial material

Sponsored features, partner placements and other paid material are labelled plainly so readers can distinguish them from editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee editorial endorsement, and we do not present advertising as independent reporting.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be AI-generated. When an illustration could reasonably be mistaken for a documentary photograph or a depiction of a real event, we identify it accordingly and do not use it as evidence for a factual claim.
