Write for us
We welcome pitches that open a fresh window on coastal rugby: a club custom, a ground with a story, a matchday ritual or a useful comparison between seaside rugby settings. Send proposals through the Contact page.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the central idea, why it suits Coastal Rugby Journal and what a reader will understand or notice by the end. A focused proposal is more helpful than a broad topic. Mention the material or sources you expect to use, and flag any uncertainty or permissions that may matter.
A distinct point of view
We are interested in clear, original writing that treats clubs and their communities with care. A pitch should have a specific angle rather than simply recap a match or repeat familiar praise of the coast. Personal experience can add texture, but it should not be asked to stand in for a wider claim.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and select the editorial option. Include a proposed title, a short outline and a little about your approach. Please send a proposal rather than a finished article unless we have asked for a draft; publication is not guaranteed.
